The first week of advent is upon us! As we're sure you'll appreciate, the ChurchApp team is quite excited about this. In fact, some of us have secretly been excited about Christmas for far too long (you know who you are), so, now that the season to be jolly is finally here, we're ready to celebrate! And, better still - to spread the joy!

We know some of our customers (at the very least) will feel the same way - sipping gingerbread lattes, wearing reindeer jumpers (perhaps even antlers with red and green flashing lights?), and putting up enough Christmas lights to dazzle the citizens of Mars, to name just a few of the wonderful things people get up to. At ChurchApp, we've decided to partake in the spreading of joy in a much more conservative fashion: we shall be launching three competitions, one for each of the first three weeks of advent!

The winner of today's competition wins a tasty, luxury Christmas hamper, which will be delivered to your church's office so everyone in your team can share the spoils!

In order to have a chance of winning this delectable prize, here's what you have to do: each day (starting today), we'll post one of our favourite new features of 2016 on our Facebook page. You can then vote for your favourite feature by liking the post - the post that has the most positive reaction wins. We shall then pick, at random, one of the people who liked the most popular feature on Facebook.

That's all you have to do for a chance of winning the big prize - it's that easy!

We hope that you'll have fun this week - and, of course, that you'll find time to join us in reflecting in a more serious manner on the wonderful truth which advent, and Christmas, are really about.
