We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchApp, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchApp between 20th February and 12th March 2015.

05-Mar-2015 - Add custom fields to emails
You can now add custom field placeholders to emails for contacts and children. These placeholders are in the format ::custom1:: etc.
04-Mar-2015 - Calendar maintains category filter
After applying filters on the Calendar, when you navigate to view another month, the filter settings are carried through with you.
02-Mar-2015 - Child communication simplified
Throughout the Children module, any time you go to send an email or an SMS, you're now given the option to select whether you want to communicate with the Child/Parent/All Parents. Previously, you could only make this selection when going through the Communication page.

You can now include both Job and Employer in a CSV export from the Address Book module.
20-Feb-2015 - Key Dates in Address Book and Children
In both the Address Book and the Children module, Key Dates has joined the menu selection alongside Tags. You can now add Key Dates in a batch as well as change the name of Key Dates across all contacts or children.

11-Mar-2015 - Check-in badge updates
The session name of a check-in session now appears on all badges. We've also introduced a "Room" badge that a parent hands in when their child arrives at their kids group room, which can help to tighten things up when using a central check-in area such as an atrium or church foyer.
11-Mar-2015 - Delete check-in
Within the Admin area of child check-in, you can now select to delete a check-in from the drop-down menu.
11-Mar-2015 - Re-print check-in badges
Through the Admin area in our child check-in system, when you click through to view a group, you can now select an option to re-print a badge.
06-Mar-2015 - ChurchApp Donate in "kiosk" mode
From within ChurchApp Connect, you'll now find a new "Donate" application that you can select from the main menu; using this app will put ChurchApp Donate in "kiosk" mode, meaning that once a donation has been successfully processed, after a few seconds, the browser will return back to the start page for donations.

When printing a badge through ChurchApp Connect, visitors who are being checked in now include a "V" on their badge to help you identify them.

04-Mar-2015 - Visual refresh
The Donate system has had it's design and layout updated so that it's now fully inline with My ChurchApp, Connect and Events. When moving between the systems, you'll see a much more consistent layout and flow.

11-Mar-2015 - Couples both see My Giving
Where a married couple give as a single giver in ChurchApp, they will now both see their giving data through My ChurchApp. Couples who are set up as separate givers will continue to see their own individual giving information.
24-Feb-2015 - Featured Events!
When editing an event in ChurchApp, you're able to select from the "My ChurchApp" section the ability to set the event to be a "Featured Event". When church members log in to My ChurchApp, "Featured Events" appear on the Home screen, as well as above the calendar when in My Events.

Our iOS and Android apps have had a massive overhaul, including support for church members to log in to My Church, which now includes additional sections, My Giving and My Podcast!
